Profile of Mexico City Christian Academy Teachers
One must be
“called” to teach. To teach students in an international setting, in a time of academic and
cultural transition, is a special assignment. We believe that God has called the teachers of Mexico City
Christian Academy to the special task of “being on mission” with Himself, with parents, and with the supporting
parties that come together to make the ministry of Mexico City Christian Academy happen.
It is expected that the teachers of
Mexico City Christian Academy are Christ followers who are actively seeking to grow in their relationship with God and their
relationship with others. It is expected that the teachers of Mexico City Christian Academy are professional,
self-disciplined, hard working, spiritually disciplined, and emotionally, intellectually, socially, ethically, physically
competent instructors.
Staff unity is key to a successful Christian school program. Because a Christ-like example is required;
slander, disrespect, gossip, disputing, dissension, rebelliousness, nor deviance of any kind will not be tolerated by any
member of the Mexico City Christian Academy staff, on or off campus.
Mutual support and edification is a must on the Christian
school campus. Staff meetings, events, projects, and activities will be planned and designed with careful
prayer and consideration of staff members’ needs and the overall aim of unity.
